Course Description:
This course is an in-depth study of The John Maxwell DISC Method (Personality Profile).
As a result of this training, participants will be able to communicate more effectively with colleagues, subordinates, and seniors at work and volounter organisations, by learning effective strategies for handling conflict and personality clashes.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course participants should be able to do the following:
Apply the Law of Awareness to recognise their strengths and limitations.
Understand how others are different and how to work with each personality,
Build a stronger team that communicates, appreciates the style of others, and work well together.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Participants and teams who wish to develop their communication and conflict resolution skills including Early Career Professionals, Mid-Career Professionals, Senior Management and C-Suite Executives.
Training Facilitator:
This training is provided in collaboration with the Mathematics For Life Foundation and facilited through the support of the foundation by Mr. Temitope Oshuntuyi.
Temitope is a Certified Coach, Trainer, and Speaker with over 10 years’ experience, helping professionals develop their leadership and communication skills. He is also a certified Behavioural Analysis Consultant, helping people recognize their strength, limitations and how to connect with other personalities. He is a personal growth enthusiast; he believes that no one can achieve greater things without growing themselves first.
As an ardent SPE member, he has served with SPE International at the local, regional, and international levels. He is a recipient of the SPE International 2019 Regional Public Service Award, Africa Region. He served for 9 consecutive years from 2010 -2019 on SPE Lagos Section Board, holding several positions including Section Chair /Council Secretary in 2017 and SPE International Students Integration Chair 2014 – 2017. He has been serving on SPE Nigeria Council Committees since 2010 till date, and was SPENC Student Programs Chair 2013-2014.
Temitope has been an avid mentor for several non-profit organizations he has worked with; continuously adding value to them. He is the Convener of the Annual Mathematics Conference and Exhibition, and Founder of Mathematics for Life Foundation, an international NGO with the aim of applying Mathematics to our daily lives in making the world a better place.
He is also the founder of Age of Purpose, an organization birthed from the need to positively impact humanity, to help discover their purpose.
